King Faisal Hospital launches affordable cosmetic surgery week in Kigali

King Faisal Hospital has officially kicked off a special Plastic Surgery Week, offering discounted cosmetic and reconstructive procedures to eligible patients from Monday, July 14, to Friday, July 18.

The initiative aims to make advanced beauty and corrective surgeries more accessible to Rwandans seeking to reshape or enhance parts of their bodies. Procedures available include liposuction, tummy tucks, breast augmentation or reduction, buttock lifts, arm reshaping, and fat transfers. Non-surgical treatments for skin and facial corrections are also part of the offerings.

Hospital officials confirmed that all patients were pre-screened and selected ahead of time, ensuring safety and suitability for the procedures. The surgeries are being performed by a team of international and local specialists, with the dual goal of improving access to these services and facilitating the transfer of skills to Rwandan medical professionals.

“This program is about restoring confidence and offering expert care to those who need it,” said a hospital spokesperson.

King Faisal Hospital, which began offering cosmetic surgery services in 2023, is strategically positioning itself as a regional hub for aesthetic and reconstructive medicine. The services provided during this special week are part of their broader commitment to expanding specialized medical care in Rwanda and the wider East African region.

Procedures available include liposuction, tummy tucks, breast augmentation or reduction, buttock lifts, arm reshaping, and fat transfers.
