Major General Vincent Nyakarundi, Chief of Defense Staff in charge of Ground Forces, visited APR FC as the team prepared for a high-stakes Rwandan Premier League match against archrivals Rayon Sports FC, scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2025.
Accompanied by APR FC Chairman Brigadier General Deo Rusanganwa, Maj Gen Nyakarundi met with players and technical staff, urging them to stay focused and committed ahead of the much-anticipated “Derby of the Thousand Hills.” He emphasized the importance of teamwork, discipline, sacrifice, and patriotism — values that have defined APR FC since its inception.
