REG VC debut their new home Arena as Police VC target redemption

Rwanda Energy Group Volleyball Club (REG VC) is set to play its first official match in its newly completed indoor gymnasium near Sainte Famille, as it hosts Police VC in Matchday 6 of the Volleyball League this Friday at 8:00 PM.

The new arena, built to host top-tier volleyball competitions, marks an important milestone for REG VC as they aim to strengthen their presence in national volleyball.

So far, REG VC has played two matches, winning one and suffering a surprising defeat to Kepler VC, and will be looking to celebrate their new venue with a victory.

However, their opponent is a determined Police VC side eager to bounce back from a disappointing loss. Last weekend in Gisagara, Police VC were defeated 3–0 by the home team, a result many considered a harsh setback for a club expected to be a title contender this season.

Police VC sees Friday’s game as an opportunity to restore confidence and prove they remain strong challengers.

The men’s fixture will be preceded by a women’s match featuring Kimihurura-based REG W VC against EAU W VC, adding more excitement to the evening program.

Fans are eagerly awaiting the clash, which promises high energy as REG VC looks to mark history in their new arena, while Police VC arrives with revenge on their minds.
