Premier League trophy arrives in Kenya

The Premier League trophy, the most coveted prize in England’s top football division, has officially arrived in Kenya, marking another stop on its annual international tour.

On Monday, October 27, 2025, the trophy was received by Kenyan President William Ruto at the State House in Nairobi, an event that drew football fans, dignitaries, and media attention across the country.

Each year, the trophy embarks on a global tour, allowing fans from different nations to experience a close encounter with one of football’s greatest symbols of success. This year’s visit sparked excitement and national pride among Kenyans, who gathered in large numbers to view and photograph the silverware.

The current version of the trophy is crowned under the name of King Charles III of the United Kingdom, symbolizing the long-standing traditions of English football.

According to the Kenyan newspaper African World, the trophy’s next stop will be India, continuing its international journey and bringing fans closer to the spirit of the Premier League.
