Ndayishimiye Dieudonné ‘Nzotanga’ signs two-year deal with Police FC

Experienced right-back Ndayishimiye Dieudonné, widely known by his nickname ‘Nzotanga’, has officially joined Police FC, signing a two-year contract with the club. The deal was finalized on Friday, July 11, 2025, marking a significant move in the current Rwandan transfer window.

Nzotanga makes the switch to Police FC after a five-year tenure with Rwandan giants APR FC, where he was a consistent presence in their defense. His signing comes amidst strong interest from other top-tier clubs, including rivals Rayon Sports, highlighting his value and reputation in the domestic league.

At Police FC, Ndayishimiye will add depth and competition to the right-back position, where he is expected to vie for a starting spot with Samuel Nsengiyumva, a recent acquisition from Gorilla FC.

Nzotanga becomes the fifth new player to join Police FC during this active transfer window. He follows the arrivals of Samuel Nsengiyumva, Moria Iradukunda, Leonard Gakwaya, and Alain Bacca Kwitonda. Additionally, the club has promoted Abdoul Niyigena from their feeder team, Interforce FC, signaling a concerted effort to bolster their squad ahead of the upcoming season.

Before his successful spell with the “Army Team” (APR FC), Ndayishimiye Dieudonné ‘Nzotanga’ showcased his promising talent at AS Muhanga, where his impressive performances first caught the eye of top clubs in the Rwandan Premier League.
