The heat is on as the Kigali Fight Night returns this Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Zaria Court in Kigali Sports City. The event promises an unforgettable night of power, energy, and entertainment, bringing together top boxing talent from across Africa.

Organized by Silverback Sports Limited in partnership with the Rwanda Boxing Federation, this edition of Kigali Fight Night will feature fighters from Rwanda, Nigeria, Tanzania, Cameroon, Gabon, Kenya, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The action-packed event includes seven professional bouts and five amateur fights, featuring some of the best and rising African boxing stars. Among the main highlights is a cruiserweight main card starring the undefeated Cameroonian boxer Tamba Merlin, who has won all six of his fights by knockout. Another exciting matchup will see Jerry Kabango from Congo take on Ally from Tanzania.

Rwanda will be strongly represented, with six national team athletes stepping into the ring fresh from their success at the Zone 3 Championships in Kenya, where they brought home two medals.

Tickets are available online via Ticket and eGotickets, with options ranging from Bronze seats to VVIP ringside passes that include access to exclusive lounges. The night will also feature DJ sets, live performances, and dramatic fighter walkouts — making it a full night of sport and entertainment.

“This event is more than boxing,” said a Silverback Sports spokesperson. “It’s about inspiring Africa’s next generation of champions.”
