Jesca Mucyowera marks major milestone with first concert and album launch

Gospel singer Jesca Mucyowera recently celebrated a remarkable milestone in her music career, hosting her first major concert where she officially launched two new albums. The worship-filled event took place at Camp Kigali, drawing a large crowd of Christians, worshippers, and fellow gospel artists who gathered to celebrate her ministry.

Hosted by Tracy Agasaro, the concert flowed with joy and spiritual reflection as upcoming artist Rwibutso Emma helped set the tone with a heartfelt performance. Later in the evening, Jesca was joined on stage by Tresor Nguweneza, delivering one of the night’s most memorable worship moments.

A highlight of the event came when Apostle Mignonne Kabera delivered a sermon and prayed over Jesca’s ministry. As a blessing and encouragement, she gifted Jesca 5 million Rwandan Francs to support her mission and the completion of her second album a gesture that moved the crowd to loud applause.

Jesca expressed sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the concert possible, especially her husband, currently living in the United States, whom she recognized for his continuous support and sacrifices for her calling.

The celebration was further elevated by performances from some of Rwanda’s most beloved gospel artists, including Aline Gahongayire, Fabrice and Maya, Jean Christian Irimbere, Arsene Tuyi, Ben & Chance, Papi Clever, Jado Sinza & Esther, and Alexis Dusabe, alongside his wife, showcasing unity and fellowship within Rwanda’s gospel community.

Jesca, who has served in ministry for around five years, is known for songs such as “Jehovah Adonai,” “Yesu Arashoboye,” “Ntazagutererana,” and “Niyo Mana.” This concert marks a major step in her spiritual journey as she continues to reach more hearts and expand her impact through gospel music.
