The President of the Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA), Shema Ngoga Fabrice, visited the national Under-17 team as they continue preparations for the upcoming CECAFA U17 Championship scheduled to take place in Ethiopia.
The young Amavubi team has been holding training sessions at the Amahoro Stadium training ground and the Kigali Pelé Stadium in Nyamirambo.
During his visit, Shema Ngoga urged the players to represent the country with pride and determination, reminding them that the entire nation stands behind them. He emphasized the importance of hard work, discipline, and teamwork to ensure a strong performance in the regional tournament.
He also encouraged the players to carefully follow the guidance of their coaches and promised that FERWAFA would continue to support them throughout their preparations and the competition.
The CECAFA U17 Championship, set to kick off next month, will serve as the qualifying tournament for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) U17 competition.
