Bayern Munich stands alone as Europe’s only unbeaten team this season

Since the 2025/2026 football season kicked off across Europe’s top five leagues, a few surprises have emerged—but one story stands out above all: Bayern Munich remains the only team still unbeaten.

While many of the continent’s traditionally dominant clubs have already tasted defeat, Bayern, under the guidance of coach Vincent Kompany, has continued its flawless run. The German giants have impressed not only in the Bundesliga but also in international competitions, including the UEFA Champions League.

Other top European clubs have struggled to maintain consistency. France’s Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) lost 2-1 to Olympique de Marseille, while Real Madrid suffered a 5-2 defeat against Atletico Madrid. FC Barcelona has already been beaten twice by PSG and their archrivals, Real Madrid, both 2-1 losses.

In England, Arsenal fell 1-0 to Liverpool, while Liverpool themselves have endured a difficult start, losing five games across the Premier League and UEFA Champions League.
