Theo Bosebabireba has expressed his gratitude to the many people who have stepped in to support his wife during her prolonged illness, including renowned gospel artists Israel Mbonyi, Apotre Mignonne Kabera, and members of City Light Foursquare Church and ADEPR Church, where he worships.
In recent weeks, Theo reached out to friends, family, and supporters of his music ministry to ask for help. His wife’s illness had already incurred substantial medical expenses, and he was also responsible for supporting their children’s education and other family needs.
Speaking to Isimbi TV on YouTube, Theo said that Apotre Mignonne Kabera was the first to call him to ask about the amount of debt he had accrued. She not only paid off the debts but also added extra funds to support his family.

Theo recounted: “The first person who called me to ask how much debt I had was Apotre Mignonne Kabera. She paid it off and even gave more to help us.”
Meanwhile, Israel Mbonyi, who is currently outside Rwanda, sent representatives to deliver his support and convey his solidarity during this challenging period.

City Light Foursquare Church, led by Bishop Prof. Fidele Masengo, contributed several million Rwandan Francs to assist Theo’s wife and prayed for her recovery. Similarly, the All Gospel Today community, including worshipers, pastors, journalists, and other church workers, visited Theo and his wife and offered 1 million Frw in support. Alarm Ministries also paid a visit to show their solidarity.
Theo’s wife expressed her heartfelt thanks to everyone who assisted and prayed for her, saying their support has given her renewed hope and strength.
“I am grateful to everyone who contributed financially and spiritually. People came forward with prayers and words of encouragement. It truly showed me the power of God working through people,” she said.
After 11 months of illness, Theo Bosebabireba remains hopeful that with continued support and prayers, his wife will fully recover.
