Worshipper Richard Nick Ngendahayo, known for his gospel songs that have touched and inspired many over the years, has arrived in Kigali after spending more than 15 years living in Dallas, Texas, USA.
He landed at Kigali International Airport in Kanombe on the night of Monday, November 3, 2025, where he was warmly received by joyful fans who had come to welcome him home.
Ngendahayo, whose face was visibly glowing with happiness, said he had returned to his homeland with a mission to share with Rwandans a testimony of salvation and spiritual renewal through uplifting worship songs.
He told IGIHE reporter, “I’m so happy to be in Kigali. I had longed to come back, and it’s truly a joy to see you all.”
Preparations for the “Niwe Healing Concert”
Richard Nick Ngendahayo came to Rwanda to prepare for his upcoming concert titled “Niwe Healing Concert,” which will take place at BK Arena on November 29, 2025.
The concert is expected to bring together celebrated gospel singers and worshippers, including both local and international artists, who will join him in delivering a message of healing, hope, and divine peace through music and testimony.
Reliable sources say that preparations for the concert are at an advanced stage, with organizers promising an extraordinary worship experience designed to create a spirit-filled atmosphere of praise and faith.
15 Years in the United States
Since around 2010, Richard Nick Ngendahayo had been living in Dallas, Texas, where he continued his ministry through gospel music and used his talent to spread the Good News abroad.
During his years overseas, he released several inspirational songs that deeply impacted Christian audiences, including “Mbwira Ibyo Ushaka” (Tell Me What You Want), “Ibuka” (Remember), “Gusimba Umwonga” (Crossing the Valley), “Si Umuhemu” (He Is Not a Liar), “Yambaye Icyubahiro” (He Is Clothed in Glory), “Wemere Ngushime” (Allow Me to Thank You), “Ijwi Rinyongorera” (A Voice Whispers to Me), “Unyitayeho” (You Care for Me), and “Sinzakwitesha” (I Will Not Lose You), among others — songs that strengthened his recognition in the global gospel community.
Many fans gathered at the Kanombe airport were overjoyed to see him again, some holding banners and pictures expressing how long they had waited for his return.
Several among them described him as a role model — a worshipper who never gives up despite life’s challenges but continues to inspire hope and comfort through his music.
