The Inzozi Youth Center officially opened its doors on October 23, bringing new opportunities for sports, talent development, and community engagement in Huye District. The launch ceremony was attended by students, residents, teachers, parents, and local leaders, including the Mayor of Huye District, Ange Sebutege.
In his remarks, Mayor Sebutege encouraged young people to make full use of the center. “The future of our community lies in the hands of the youth who are committed to using their talents productively,” he said.
Students attending the event expressed excitement about the opportunities the center offers. One participant said, “We now have a place where we can train, play, and share ideas.” Teachers and parents also welcomed the new facility, highlighting its potential to keep young people engaged in positive activities and away from negative influences.

The Inzozi Youth Center is designed to support a variety of activities, including basketball, volleyball, football, and other recreational sports. It will also host talent competitions, workshops, and community events aimed at helping young people discover and nurture their abilities.
Mayor Sebutege concluded the ceremony by urging the community to protect and use the center responsibly. He reminded the youth that success requires discipline, teamwork, and commitment.
