Rayon Sports has announced temporary changes to its leadership team as the club prepares for its Week 7 Rwandan Premier League match against APR FC at Stade Amahoro on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
Abraham Kelly, who previously served as Secretary during the tenures of Munyakazi Sadate and Habinshuti Mike, has returned to assist the club’s management. Rayon Sports President Twagirayezu Thaddée confirmed the development during a Thursday, November 6, 2025, meeting with supporters at the training grounds.
“Kelly and Habinshuti are supporting leadership duties that were left vacant after the departure of former officials. The General Assembly will decide on the continuation of their roles,” Twagirayezu said.
The announcement comes after Rayon Sports lost several key officials, including Second Vice President Ngoga Roger Aimable and Team Treasurer Rukundo Patrick. Twagirayezu emphasized that the temporary appointments aim to ensure smooth management and effective preparation ahead of the high-stakes encounter with APR FC.
Supporters present at the training session welcomed the news, expressing relief that the team’s leadership responsibilities are now more structured. The club’s management appears focused on maintaining stability both on and off the pitch as the season progresses.
Rayon Sports faces APR FC in what promises to be a crucial match for league standings, and fans are hoping the reinforced leadership will translate into a strong performance on the field.
