Dominique Bizimana has been re-elected as President of the National Paralympic Committee of Rwanda (NPC Rwanda), returning to a role he previously held for more than a decade.

Bizimana first served as NPC President from 2001 to 2012, a period widely credited with laying the foundation for Rwanda’s sporting success in Paralympic competitions.

His comeback was confirmed during an extraordinary General Assembly held on November 8, 2025 at Classic Hotel in Kigali. Delegates selected him to lead the institution for the next four years, tasking him with strengthening sports opportunities for persons with disabilities across the country.
