Rapper Papa Cyangwe to celebrate five years in music with upcoming concert

Rwandan rapper Papa Cyangwe has announced a major concert to launch his second album, “Now or Never,” which will also mark his fifth anniversary in the music industry.

In a message shared with his fans, Papa Cyangwe revealed that preparations for the concert are already underway, though the exact date and venue are yet to be disclosed.

In a recent interview with IGIHE, the artist confirmed that the show will serve both as the official unveiling of his new album and a celebration with fans who have supported him throughout his musical journey.

“In the past five years, I hadn’t organized my own concert. I’m now preparing for it, which is why I decided to give fans a little teaser. The date and venue will be announced soon,” he said.

Papa Cyangwe began his music career in 2020 and gained widespread popularity during the Covid-19 period, thanks not only to his music but also to his engaging media appearances. While initially known for his outspoken interviews, he has won many fans through hit songs such as “Kuntsutsu” featuring Juno Kizigenza, “Sana,” and “Imbeba” featuring Igor Mabano.

Over his five-year career, Papa Cyangwe has released two albums: “Live and Die” (2024) and “Now or Never,” which he plans to perform at the upcoming concert.

The announcement also comes shortly after he shared personal news: he is now married and recently welcomed his first child with his wife, adding another milestone to an already eventful year.
