Minister Nduhungirehe meets Rwandan community in Egypt

Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Olivier Nduhungirehe, met with members of the Rwandan community in Egypt during a visit to Cairo for the inauguration of the Grand Egyptian Museum.

The meeting allowed the Minister to interact directly with the diaspora, stressing the importance of maintaining ties with Rwanda, promoting unity, and preserving cultural values. He provided updates on national progress and initiatives under the National Strategy for Transformation (NST2).

Minister Nduhungirehe encouraged the community, including students, to contribute to Rwanda’s development through skills, remittances, and active participation in national programs.

The visit also included bilateral talks with Egypt’s Foreign Minister, H.E. Dr. Badr Abdelatty, focusing on strengthening cooperation in areas such as transport and trade.
