Local and International celebs dazzle on Silver Gala red carpet

Celebrities from Rwanda and abroad arrived in style at The Silver Gala, an event organized by internationally acclaimed Rwandan dancer Sherrie Silver. The gala took place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at BK Arena, bringing together prominent figures from the Rwandan and international entertainment industries.

The evening’s hosts, Makeda Mahadeo and Eric Omondi, welcomed guests as they walked the red carpet. High-profile attendees included DJ Lamper, Miss Mutesi Jolly, Juno Kizigenza, Ish Kevin, RunUp, Coach Gaël, Muyoboke Alex, Chella from Nigeria, Sherrie Silver herself, Anitha Urayeneza, Miss Nishimwe Naomie, and Ilunga Longin, also known as Tukowote in Rwandan cinema.

The event featured musical performances, a fashion showcase, and a fundraising drive to support more than 1,000 children through the Sherrie Silver Foundation. Many celebrities arrived with their partners, creating a vibrant and joyful atmosphere for the crowd.

Other highlights included Mutesi Jolly stepping out of her newly purchased car, Ilunga Longin arriving in style, and Umutoni Sandrine, State Secretary in the Ministry of Youth and Arts Development, being welcomed by Sherrie Silver on the red carpet.

The Silver Gala, now in its second edition, continues to be one of Rwanda’s most visually stunning and high-profile cultural events, celebrating art, fashion, and philanthropy.
