The Prince and Princess of Wales are beginning a new chapter in their family’s life as they prepare to move from their cherished Adelaide Cottage to Forest Lodge, a serene and spacious estate nestled within Windsor Great Park.
According to BBC News, insiders have described the move as the couple’s “forever home,” symbolizing both a physical and emotional fresh start for the royal family.
For years, Adelaide Cottage served as a warm and cozy retreat for the Wales family, a four-bedroom home filled with laughter, busy school mornings, and quiet family evenings. But now, their attention has turned to Forest Lodge, a larger and more secluded residence surrounded by 150 acres of picturesque parkland.

Builders have reportedly been working around the clock to finalize renovations ahead of schedule, allowing the family to settle in by early November. The move promises greater privacy and more space for the children to play and explore.
The timing couldn’t be more perfect. Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are currently on their October half-term break from Lambrook School in Berkshire, allowing the family to transition smoothly before the school term resumes.
For the Prince and Princess, Forest Lodge represents renewal, a peaceful haven where they can balance royal duty with family life. The move also reflects their evolving vision of modern monarchy: approachable, grounded, and centered on family values.
