Rwanda Premier League side, Gorilla FC, lost 3-1 to Uganda’s Vipers SC in a preseason friendly match on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
Currently training in Uganda, Gorilla FC plans to play several friendly matches as they prepare for the busy 2025/26 season. This loss was their first preseason game in Uganda, played at St. Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
The two teams are scheduled to meet again on Thursday in a doubleheader, giving Gorilla FC another chance to improve its squad. These friendlies are the first matches for the Rwandan team as they gear up for the upcoming season.
Gorilla FC finished the 2024/25 Rwanda Premier League season in 7th place, but the club is aiming higher this season after adding a few new players.
