The 21st of February 2025 at Petit Stade was an incredible night for the national volleyball league.
Police volleyball club continues to dominate after beating Kepler volleyball club 3-1 sets.

Kepler, who had only conceded two sets in their games, came out strong and clinched the first set 25-20, showing early signs of maintaining their record.
However, Kepler, led by Fidele Nyirimana, fought back and refused to let the Police dominate. Came out with renewed determination, aiming to be the first team to win a second set against the Police. But they didn’t succeed, and police secured the set 25-21 and took a 2-0 lead heading into the third set, full of energy and confidence.

In the third set fought back and refused to let the Police dominate. Set was a back-and-forth battle, and Kepler capitalized on their momentum, claiming the final five points to win 25-20 and tie the match at 2-1.
The fourth set saw standout performances from Elphas Makuto, the attacker, and Kwizera aka Kiganza the outside hitter. Their efforts helped secure crucial blocks and contain Keppler’s top player, Wycliff Dusenge. Police narrowly edged out Kepler 28-26 in the final set.

Police remain at the top of the standings with a 12-1 record and 35 points, while Kepler VC on third place with 26 points.
In the women’s category, Police WVC claimed a straight-set victory over RRA.

Police’s Christian Hatumimana showed no mercy against Elie Mutabazi’s side, who had come from one game down to beat Police and claim the second position in the season.
The win keeps Police WV dominated with 36 points. APR WVC, in second place with 34 points, cruised to a 3-0 victory over Wisdom WVC, followed by RRA, in third place with 31 points.
