Chorale de Kigali Promises Spectacular Christmas Carols Concert 2024

The countdown to Christmas has begun, and Kigali’s holiday season is about to get a lot brighter. Chorale de Kigali is set to bring festive magic to the city with its much-loved Christmas Carols Concert (CCC) on December 22, 2024, at BK Arena.

Known for its powerful harmonies and vibrant performances, this year’s concert promises an unforgettable evening of music, joy, and celebration for music lovers of all ages.

Jean Claude Hodari, the leader of Chorale de Kigali from Sainte Michel Parish, assured audiences that this year’s concert will reflect enhancements inspired by feedback from previous events.

Speaking to MKU Magazine, Hodari said the choir had addressed key aspects of the performance, including seating arrangements, sound quality, attire, and song selection.

“From seating arrangements and sound quality to our attire and the song selections, we have improved every aspect of the concert. This year, our audience can expect a vibrant and uplifting experience featuring traditional and contemporary performances,” he said.

The Chorale de Kigali, which boasts over 100 members, is renowned for its ability to seamlessly blend traditional choral music with modern and international hits.

Audiences can expect a mix of beloved classics and contemporary pieces, including popular renditions such as “Gloria,” and others ensuring a lively and engaging experience for attendees.

Founded in 1966, Chorale de Kigali has become one of Rwanda’s leading choral ensembles, earning a reputation for musical excellence and captivating performances. Over the years, the group’s Christmas Carols Concert has drawn thousands of attendees, solidifying its place as a highlight of Kigali’s festive calendar.

Tickets for the event are now available, with prices ranging from 5,000 to 250,000 Rwandan Francs. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance through the official online platform, www.TICQET.RW, to secure their seats for the evening.

As the festive season approaches, Hodari extended a heartfelt message to fans, wishing them a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

“We encourage everyone to attend the concert and to arrive early, as the performances will begin promptly at 6:00 PM. It will be an evening filled with joy, music, and celebration,” he added.

With its rich history and reputation for delivering high-quality performances, the Chorale de Kigali promises an unforgettable evening of song and celebration that will set the tone for the holiday season in Rwanda.
