One of Rwanda’s most popular comedians, Iryamukuru Etienne, widely known as “Etienne” in the entertainment industry, is set to host Joy’s comedy show on July 5, 2025.
Etienne built his name in Rwandan comedy alongside his former partner Japhet. Together, they formed the group “Bigomba Guhinduka,” which translates to “Things must change.” It was through their engaging content that many people in Rwanda became familiar with Etienne’s comedic style.
The highly anticipated “Joy’s Comedy Show” featuring Etienne will take place on July 5, 2025, at M Hotel. The show is scheduled to run from 6 PM to 9 PM. Tickets are now available, with prices set at 50,000 RWF, 30,000 RWF, and 20,000 RWF.
Etienne will not be the only comedian gracing the stage. The event will also feature performances from other well-known comedians, including Joshua comedian, Rufendeke comedian, and several other prominent names in the Rwandan comedy scene.
Currently pursuing his studies at Mount Kigali University, Etienne has extended a warm invitation to everyone at the campus to come and show their support for his upcoming show.
