The hidden knowledge in reading

There are many things one can do during their free time, from watching soccer, to movies, to talking a walk, among others.

Much as relaxation is guaranteed with whichever you choose to go with, there’s one that will grant you more: knowledge; and that’s reading.

Allow me share with you my three favorite novels of all times: Enjoy as you learn.

Holes– written by Louis Sachar: it talks about the consequences of choices, resulting from fate and destiny, and the importance of friendship. Reading this novel is a great way for students to learn about perseverance and their future success.

The secret garden– written by Frances Hodgson Burnett, the novel emphasizes the power of positive thinking. Thoughts are as powerful as electric batteries, as good for one as sunlight’s is and as bad as poison if you don’t ‘trend carefully’. Burnett’s highlights the power of positive thinking through christian science.

The chronicle of Narnia by C. S. Lewis is a series of seven fantasy books that follows the adventures of
siblings who enter a magical world called Narnia and discover its inhabitants and secret.
