Uwayezu Ariel, known to many as Ariel Wayz is a Rwandan female artist whose music has many grooving when they listen to it; not to mention the massive wave play it receives on both local and international radio and TV stations.
Throughout her school days, Ariel used to sing but every now and then, fear would try to block her talent.
Fortunately, she never gave in to it as everytime it would try to cloud her vision, she would remind herself of what she wants to be in life.
“I used to look myself in the mirror whenever fear caved in and tell myself to ‘fear not’- I can do this and I will do it”, she recalls.
Now one of the biggest force to reckon with in the Rwandan industry having won ‘best female artiste award 2022’, Ariel urges the youth to always believe in themselves and never let fear get in the way of their dreams.
