Born 1963 in the Northern province of Rwanda-Rulindo district, Tare sector, Nyiragarama cell: Sina Gerard is a sounding name in the Rwanda Entrepreneurship sector.
He is the founder and Director of ‘Urwibutso entreprises’ commonly known as ‘Nyiragarama’ a prominent food and beverages manufacturing company in Rwanda that provides full and part time jobs to thousands of Rwandans.
Presently into agriculture, wood business, bakery, spice making, supermarkets, and philanthropy; Sina Gerard started off with just a small canteen that used to sell biscuits, sweets and drinks.
Amidst challenges, he didn’t give up on his dream of bringing change to his village and country. Years later, the impact of his work has been recognized locally and internationally with Awards like: Diamond International Quality Award, The New era for technology, beauty and innovation award and Made in Rwanda award.
To the youth, Sina Gerard says, “Now is the time, get your hands out of the pockets and start with whatever small thing you have, even when others think it’s not important“.
