Even though he is happy with what he has gained from playing football, Prince says he has not yet achieved his goal since he wants to play football outside Rwanda and maybe in Europe because the best football clubs are based there. He says he looks up to Thiago Silva who is a Brazilian professional footballer playing for Chelsea.

“The footballer has been my inspiration ever since I started playing, he came from far and is now in one of the best Football club in the world, I would like to be known for my hard work just like him.” said Buregeya Prince.

The footballer has bought a car, a house and is living only on the salary he gets from APR.

“I have seen many talented footballers but the commitment that Prince holds, is unmatched. We have always known that Prince would go far because he liked taking risks and opportunities from the time he was a teenager.” said Laurent, a footballer in the New Vision football club.

“Prince would train for so long and so hard for friendly matches and he would make sure his team won the match, and when we lost, Prince was always the person who was angry but never showed it in a bad way. He always had words to encourage other players and when he went in INTARE Academy, most of us thought we lost an important player.” said Laurent in the interview.

“I have seen Prince working hard when he was young and achieving so much more. It has always been a passion for Prince to play in Amavubi ( The National team of Rwanda). Prince’s commitment is impressive since he has stayed in APR for long where new players come and go. Prince’s long stay in the team is a result from what the team has made him achieve. Apart from Prince being a talented footballer, he is a very humble young man and that is a testimony from all his friends and teammates.” said Bertrand, one of Prince’s friends and fan.

Always have a goal, Know what you want before starting to do anything and make the sky your limit.” said Prince at the end of the interview advising the young generation.
