Simba Center to host three-day products and services showcase this December

Simba Center has announced a three-day Products and Services Showcase, scheduled from December 22 to 24, 2025, at its main compound in Kigali. The event aims to promote local businesses and provide tenants with a platform to connect directly with customers during the festive season.

Speaking to the media, Mr. Gisa Dickens, Property Manager of Simba Center, explained the purpose of the showcase:

“We want to give our tenants and other invited exhibitors a chance to display their products, interact with customers, and boost their sales during the Christmas period. It’s also an opportunity for visitors to discover a wide range of goods and services under one roof.”

The event will feature a diverse array of products, including electronics, fashion, beauty items, household goods, food, and beverages. Organizers also plan to include entertainment segments and promotional discounts to attract more visitors.

Tenants welcome the initiative

Several Simba Center tenants expressed enthusiasm for the showcase, seeing it as a way to reach new customers and increase visibility.

Ms. Alice Uwitonze, owner of a beauty products shop, said:

“December is our busiest month, and this showcase will help us meet more clients. I’m planning to introduce a few new skincare products and give discounts to loyal customers.”

Mr. Jean Claude Ndayambaje, a fashion retailer at the center, added:

“The festive season is when people love to shop. With this event, I believe we will double our sales. It’s also a good time for small businesses like mine to gain exposure.”

Ms. Nadine Mukasine, who operates a restaurant at Simba Center, said she looks forward to serving more visitors:

“We’ll prepare a special holiday menu and offer takeaway packages for visitors. It’s not just about business — it’s also about building community spirit.”

Encouraging local participation

Mr. Gisa emphasized that the showcase is open to other local entrepreneurs and the general public:

“Simba Center has always been a business hub in Kigali. Through this showcase, we want to strengthen partnerships between tenants and customers while promoting local innovation.”

The three-day event will run daily from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with free entry for all visitors.
