MKUR wins “Best Tourism and Hospitality University” award for the year 2022

On Saturday 3rd/Nov/2022, during the Rwanda Chamber of Tourism gala dinner held at Radisson Blu Hotel in Kigali, Mount Kigali University was voted the best university in Tourism and Hospitality training.

The ceremony followed a week long of events (from 26th November to 3rd December) in which the Rwanda Chamber of Tourism together with its stakeholders from the continent and the Globe celebrated and recognized different tourism sectors for their efforts to recovery from the effects of COVID-19.

Receiving the award for the first time is a huge achievement for the Tourism and Hospitality department in MKUR as its a recognition of the efforts made in offering quality training, employing quality education staff with international experience as well as the contribution made by the graduates in the hospitality and tourism industry in Rwanda.
